Children of these days

This little post is to differentiate the difference between the children of then and of now, and also to show the advantages and disadvantages of each individual characters
(Please not am mostly referring to Nigerian children).
1 the children of then are hard working while the children of now prefer resting:
Parents always tell stories about their past lives, about how they would assist their parents to the farm and would work from dawn to twilight. These days finding such-like children is like searching for diamonds in the desert. The reason why children of now behave in such ways is TIME. in those days schooling doesn't consume as much time as nowadays. So children would use more than 7hrs a day just in school, and (advisably) 2 or more hours reading and studying @home. Also, it's advised that children sleep above 9 hours @night so in addition (7+2+9), children only have 6 free hours every week day. A child needs time to understand his/herself, needs time for play, and needs to socialize. Do you think that just six (6) hours would be enough for a child per day? Do you think giving extra activities to the child would do him good? What makes children angry is when you stop them from whatever they're doing just to sleep. It's as if they're not getting enough time. If less time is spent alone, a child would soon notice and start been rebellious leading us to
2 children of then mostly don't complain but children of now often complain and are rebellious:
The main reason why those days children don't complain is that they haven't been exposed. When a child (these days) learns about new stuffs and new ways of living and that way isn't practised @home, he'll most definitely complain cause he think what he has learned is the right way. (Those days) children's thoughts are limited to only what their parents tell them resulting in always agreeing with anything said by the parents but nowadays children, been exposed, tend always wanting to view things in a more open way than just what the parents would say making them to make suggestions. These suggestions, because not expressed well, would appear as complaining but if you (a parent) should listen well, you'd get a little sense from it.
3 children of these days tend to be more beautiful than olden days children:
Nigeria as we know is a country blessed with numerous races. In the past people tend to marry only from their tribes, as a result, making their children's traits to be limited to just that tribe's trait. But these days people mostly marry from other tribes allowing mixture and allowing the child to gain favorable traits from both tribes which would make him/her to look differently (mostly more beautiful). There is a study that mix breed are more beautiful than pure breed.
