This post is a research post to enlighten you about why there are different religions in the world and the bitter truth about the true religion.
God created the first humans not to be of different languages but to speak same language (Hebrew). Something went up the line. God noticed that the unity in men was strong enough that they could build to the heavens and there was nothing they couldn't do so long as they're united (Genesis 11:6). God then caused disunity with the striking of different languages (Genesis 11:7-9). Because of this man had different languages and cultures. This means, since someone can only understand a few out of the thousands, he'll pair up with them and they'll go their own land and behave as one (in terms of culture and religion and tradition).
This act by God caused the major diversity in humans.
Now this next part of the post would show the origin of difference between Christianity and Islam.
God promised Abraham that he'll be the father of faith, the father of all nations. After a while, Sarah (by then, her name was sarai) couldn't give birth so Abraham had a son from Hagar who is Sarah's servant (Genesis 16:11). The name of the boy was Ishmael. Ishmael is the source of Islam (Genesis 16:12) and the prophecies given by the angel is visibly shown by the today Muslims.
Although Ishmael was the first born son and was also circumcised, he didn't inherit the promise made by God to Abraham. He was given his own prophecy (Genesis 17:20-21). With that in mind, Isaac the founder of Christianity was given the promise of bearing the new covenant of God. He was in the line of the ancestors of Jesus.
Now the bitter truth is that, if God truly is the creator of us all, we should be inclined in worshipping him in the right way. All those who are not in the new covenant of Jesus blood aren't going to be resurrected in the new world. This post isn't too uphold or insult any religion, it's to open your eyes and mind remembering that the covenant (Jesus blood) by God is just for those who follow Jesus footsteps.
Just like the apostle Paul, he wasn't a Christian but he humbled himself enough to change so if you must enjoy the privilege of been in the real world.
