The state of been 'Among'

People complain that the way they live their lives is different from planned. People who have been doing well in one aspect of live may just crumble all of a sudden. The reason may be 'failing to plan' but this post would bring another reason why achieving your goals can either be difficult or easy.


1. Knowledge of right and wrong
Without governmental laws, a society or group of people may still survive. Why? Because of an inbuilt law (conscience) guiding them. Now everyone's conscience isn't fixed in doing what's right. Some may be negatively impacted by external pressures. What if you as an individual don't associate with good people? What if almost all of your friends have questionable characters? Use this principle: 'show me your friends and I'll tell you who you are'.

2. Your actions
Now that your sense of decision is influenced by the people around you, it would be very difficult for you to be unique. The decisions you make would reflect the way your cliques want it. 3. Your growth
Now you see how the circle runs. From knowledge to decision now to growth (result). It's a fact that positive growth is the result of positive decision while negative growth is a result of negative decision. As we all want, positive growth would only occur when we do the right things and we would only do the right things when we know the right things to do. Also, we would only know the right things to do when we're with the right people.

In a nutshell, the people around you 'now' play a very important role on how your 'future' will look like. If you want to be spiritual, stick with spiritual people. If you want to be brilliant, stick with brilliant people. That's how life is.
