How to stay active in a religious building

image

Wether it's church, mosque, shrine, synagogue or temple, staying in your religious building for hours could be boring. This is true especially when the teacher/preacher is giving a long talk. How can you stay active during this period? Read this post

1. Follow up Do whatever activity is been done. Follow up in this way you'll get the sense of what is been taught and you'll stay awake. If (for example) a Bible verse is been opened, open yours as well.

2. Jot down No better way of paying attention than to write down cool points from what is been discussed. In this way, you'll not just stay awake, but also have a reference resource for future use.

3. Stay active If you feel either of the two points stated above aren't working, get up (if possible) and walk around the building. You could wash your face with cold water or could just keep walking around the building (just around the building so you could still hear what is been discussed)

4. Get interactive When outside, you could find a pal to discuss with. You guys could discuss about what is been preached. In this way, you're not just awake, but also learning more from another view point

5. Keep focused Wether you're inside or outside, focusing on what is been discussed(boring or interesting) is the best way to stay active. If you're focused, you won't be distracted by external pressure.
Don't chew gum. It's disrespectful
Don't discuss anything not related to what is been studied
