Corruption in Nigeria

This post would cite some things that are now in an average Nigerians mind and these things causes corruption in a nation (it's just my opinion though).
Here are few ways

1. Discrimination
Now you most probably know that an engineer is equal as someone who picks up dirt as a living (irrespective of the income difference). The thing in Nigeria is that Nigerians tend to follow only the trending (read my other post JOBLESSNESS IN NIGERIA). When a boy perhaps who's passion is been a farmer whereas his father works in shell, it's an almost impossible thing for the boy to continue with his dreams. So the solution, take these words as principle:

No tree can grow larger than any tree at its top
Yep if you follow the footsteps of someone whereby that's not actually what you should do, you're permanently under that person like the tree unless you retrace your errors and follow the right part.

2. Fear of tomorrow
Am actually talking about the fear of tomorrow. This feeling can make even the strongest man to make a bad decision. Perhaps you feel like starting up a project or business then you focus on the flaws and disadvantages rather than been open minded, you'll most definitely not succeed and this could make you follow a wrong part which might not augur well

3. Fear of today
Am focusing this part of the post on examination malpractice. Students don't read anymore but when it's time of the exam, expo is a must. If you carry on until graduation, you might get a job, but what benefit is the establishment making from you?

4. Fast money making
I once ran a poll with some people. The question was: between success and improvement, which could come first in your life? Most people choose success after much consideration. Let's say we all want to be successful but we just want to sit and wait for it. Is it possible? Nope. That's the problem facing people of the south south. They just want fast income then when it's time to judge how they spent the money, they disappear. If it were Igbo people for instance, they'll use such money in a very reasonable way and would be able to tell how they spent it. Remember the saying: easy come, easy go. On a more truly ground, please know that improving before succeeding would make you be ready to be at the top

5. Tribalism
This is just like the first, discrimination. If you see a man as the manager of a firm, you'll most probably see other people of same tribe with him at the firm. Even if it's a federal government firm. The solution of this, view everyone as Nigerians. View your brother as a Nigerian as well so that when you're employing someone, you're not employing him because he's from same village or town with you. You're employing him cause his a Nigerian like you.

Like I earlier said, is just my opinion.
