Emotional imbalance

Emotional imbalance could be defined as a situation whereby someone may not be able to feel the right emotion at a particular time. People who regularly experience this may feel very hurt in a small joke about them and they may not take it lightly. Read this post to know why people have emotional imbalance, how to identify people with it and how to help them. Why do people suffer emotional imbalance? There are three major reasons

1. When they feel neglected
Everyone are in a room gisting and laughing but there's this particular person who feels he's/she's not flowing with the group. The more the discussion continues, the more the person would feel left out. This may stir a sad emotion into the mind of the person. He'll/She'll feel hurt within.

2. Feel oppressed but couldn't do anything
A family inside a house. A child may feel that he/she is been oppressed by another child. He/she may want to fight back but the parents would quickly take the other child's side. This child that felt oppressed, wanted to fight back(when you feel oppressed, it's essential that you fight back either with actions or utterances because when you do nothing about it, you may start over thinking therefore overwhelming your brain*) but wasn't given the chance. He'll/She'll feel hurt because of two reasons: 1. That he/she was oppressed 2. His/Her parent took the oppressors side. This causes emotional imbalance

3. Wrong impression
Something may be happening but not everyone would fully grasp it's actual meaning. Perhaps a joke(not initiated to hurt you) may be told and you'd feel that you've been insulted. This may cause emotional imbalance. Generally, anything that makes you get a wrong meaning towards what's happening may make you feel hurt therefore giving you emotional imbalance.

Also, emotional imbalance may come when things aren't working your way, when you lost loved ones or if you're pregnant

What emotional imbalance leads to
For suicidal people: People who easily get the feeling of committing suicide may not be able to help themselves if facing emotional imbalance. These people value relationship a lot and if they feel hurt, they can't handle the pressure but to kill themselves.
For people not suicidal People who never get the feeling of committing suicide, when struck with emotional imbalance would prefer to be alone*, thinking and these people would become rude as the days go by. They'll start to loose the value of relationships.

How can you identify people with emotional imbalance?
1. If they were extroverts, they'll start behaving like introverts
2. The way they speak, the way they act, you'll think they're going mad
3. They start complaining about everything
4. They won't be able to concentrate in studies or work

How can you help them?
1. Give them affection
Showing someone you love him/her would give that person extra reason to live. In addition, it'll make the person love you more.

2. Explain everything
If you feel that he/she doesn't understand what's going on, explain things to him/her. In this way, the person would find genuine reason to stay at a particular place or leave.

3. Know their reasons for actions
If they do something weird, or something not supposed to be done, know why they did it before you disapprove them.

4. Show them the good things life has to offer Take them places. Go shopping or tourism. Let them experience life for its sweetness*. This would remove their mind off negative thoughts. image image source
