Humility, by its definition, implies that an humble person must be in a high position. It is almost impossible for the person in the lower end of the line to display humility. This means that the higher you are in life(any aspect), the more challenging 'been humble' is to you. Humility can best be shown with these two emotions:

When everyone in a room are happy, perhaps laughing, a humble person would want to find the joke so he'll/she'll get along but someone who isn't humble, might laugh along but feels he's/she's been disturbed inwardly.
What can you do?
If you want to be humble, even if someone is pulling a joke on you, or perhaps mimicking you, instead of flaring up(which simply means you've shown you're been disturbed), try as much as you can(which requires humility) to get the joke, laugh. If however, you feel you're been insulted, it's better to keep quiet than to start a fight. An humble person would always make his/her environment peaceful.

You're bathing then someone out-of-his-senses just go to the bathroom, opens it and runs away with your towel leaving you stranded in the bathroom. Would you run naked pursuing that person to give you back your towel? If so, who is crazier between you both? Humility implies that even if you know someone is below your standard(in a specific aspect*), you're able to let that person do whatever he/she feels like doing, thinking you'll flare up meanwhile you're not affected. Whenever you're angry at someone you feel isn't worth your time, remember the scenario above. It'll cool you down.
