This is a continuation of a former post: securing your purpose. To understand the meaning of this post and it's former, read an earlier post: your purpose. Just as short definition, your purpose is your reason for living. What God wants you to become. A way to know your purpose is to open your mind. This post would education you on how to achieve your purpose.
1. Know your reason
Know what God has made you to become. Look deep into yourself and ask these questions: what's my passion? Do I have any talent? How can I exploit myself? Meditate deeply while finding your purpose. Note that it's not done in a day cause you've got to study your daily thoughts, passion and behavior in order to know your reason.

2. Know your worth
Even if you're in a path of a trending course (so long it's your purpose) knowing your worth could make you stand out. Ask yourself: if am brought into the midst of people like me, what can i do to stand out? What can i do so people would know me? Knowing your worth would make you become unique.

3. Think/act ahead
Keep in mind that the future starts now. Don't wait until after graduation before you start implementing your plan. Start creating a unique plan for yourself or if resources aren't complete yet, write out your plan so you wouldn't overwhelm your brain with thoughts.

4. Keep firm
Don't be discouraged, don't be afraid. According to my other post: opening your mind, change these questions that bring fear:
1. Where will I work?
2. Who'll support me?
To questions that'll encourage and challenge you:
1. What can I do?
2. Who'll know my worth?
The difference of these questions is that the latter would open your mind to possibilities and would make you find your worth. Remember that the future is yours to live

5. Stick with God
God created you. He gave you a purpose to live for. He created a path for you to reach your destination. If you abide with his laws and/or principles, there isn't any faster way to accomplish your life's reason.
